My name is José Criales-Unzueta and I am a Bolivian fashion designer and writer based in Brooklyn, NY.

As a designer, I have worked with brands including Coach, Kate Spade, Banana Republic, and Christopher John Rogers. I currently work as a handbag designer at a NYC-based brand and as a freelance fashion and culture writer and consultant. My writing has been published in publications including PAPER and i-D.

I am also a fashion commentator on Instagram, where I discuss and break down fashion news, collections, and trends, and host a podcast about fashion and culture.
